FOR ALDOSTERONE
The following drugs are prohibited for 2 weeks before and during the collection: diuretics, antihypertensives, cyclic progesterone, estrogens.
FOR VMA
The following medicines are prohibited for 2 weeks before and during the collection: aspirin, levodopa, Amoxil, pyridoxine, methyl-dopa, reserpine. Caffeine, tea, bananas and nuts are also banned .
FOR URINE OXALATES
A special diet is required for 1-2 days before and during the collection of the sample. It is forbidden to take vitamin C before taking it . Also prohibited are coffee, tea, strawberries, bananas, oranges, soy, spinach, chocolate, carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower.

FOR 17-KETOSTEROIDS (17-KS)
The following drugs are prohibited for 2 days : antibiotics, corticosteroids.
FOR METANEPHRINES-NORMETANEPRINES
A special diet is required for 2 days before and during the collection of the sample. The following drugs are prohibited : vitamin B&C, aspirin, diamine, phenothiazines, levodopa, ampicillin, erythromycin, tetracycline, dopamine. Coffee, tea, chocolate, vanilla, bananas and cocoa are prohibited .
FOR SEROTONINE
Prohibited for 3 days before and during the collection of tomatoes, bananas, plums, chestnuts and aubergines.
FOR 17-HYDROXYCORTIC STEROIDS (17-OHCS)
The following drugs are prohibited for 5 days before and during collection: corticosteroids, antibiotics and ACTH.
FOR 5 HYDROXY-INDOLO-ACETIC ACID (5-HIAA)
A special diet is required for 3-4 days before and during the collection of the sample. Bananas, pineapples, avocados, kiwis, plums, tomatoes, walnuts, chestnuts, aubergines, chocolate, cocoa are prohibited.
